Preparations before the baby is born

There are many things to prepare before the  baby is born. You are excited and want to give your little one the best from day one.

We have therefore put together a list for you to help you prepare the most important things  before the birth of  your little belly-dweller.

Shopping before the baby is born

It is worthwhile to get certain things before the child is born so that nothing is missing when the little earthly citizen arrives. For example, you will need baby clothes,  underwear, socks and a skull cap.

But don’t buy too much, because newborns grow very quickly and things will soon be too small for them.

Of course, you also need diapers, wet wipes, creams  and other hygiene items for the infant. It’s best to buy quality products, but only in small quantities. You can always buy new things!

pacifier is also a good idea  because you can use it to calm your child when they are crying. Remember, however, that your arms will be the best sedative for the newborn.

You also need a baby bag and a stroller to  comfortably transport your little one.

You should also not forget to pack a bag with the most important things for the hospital visit in good time.

Buy baby socks before the birth

The baby’s room

You probably already know how you want to furnish the nursery. Every future mother knows the importance of arranging the room before the baby is born.

You will at least need a cradle and a closet for the baby’s laundry and clothes.

Almost all parents have great fun preparing the children’s room. Of course, you have to adapt the furnishings to the size of the room that is available to you.

Furniture that “grows with you” and is still useful when the child is a little older is best. You can save space, money and energy with the right planning!

A changing table is not absolutely necessary because you can change your child on the bed. This is another way to save space and money.

When the baby is a little older, they need space to play, a table and a chair so they can draw, play with plasticine or do other activities.

Preparations before the birth of the child

It is important that everything is comfortable for the baby  so that he can feel safe and comfortable. Curtains or at least blinds in the room will help you regulate the light.

You can easily darken the room when your little one is taking a nap in the middle of the day. It will still be able to distinguish whether it is day or night.

Opt for soft colors in the room. If the walls are also painted in light tones, the baby can find more rest.

As it grows up, you will need to take certain safety precautions as well. For example, child safety locks for sockets, protection for sharp edges or a stair gate are very beneficial.

Use the time before the birth to prepare everything so that you have plenty of time for your baby afterwards.
