A Mother’s Tiredness Is Directly Proportional To The Love For Her Child
Undoubtedly every child has their guardian angel, but we should not look for them in the hereafter, but in the “here”. More precisely, by their side. In this article we would like to invite you to acknowledge the efforts of all mothers. All the days, months and years of care and devotion that they invest in their children and that they put up with tiredness.
The tiredness of a pregnant mother
A mother’s fatigue begins during pregnancy and is present at every stage of her child’s growth. Especially in the advanced weeks of her baby’s pregnancy, she has sleepless nights.
Why do mothers have trouble sleeping during pregnancy? Mothers stay awake at night from the movements of the restless little night owls or from the typical inconveniences that pregnancy brings with it.
A mother’s fatigue after the arrival of the newborn
The baby is here! Despite the joy and excitement that reigns at home, your nights don’t seem to change. Sentences like “You won’t let me sleep” or “I can’t and shouldn’t sleep” are repeated incessantly with new mothers.
No wonder, because the first few months of a child are difficult for any mother because they involve a series of changes and significant learning. The newborn often wakes up and cries inconsolably.
Is it hungry? Is it too warm for him? Is the diaper full? However, nothing seems to calm it down more than lying in your arms. Here begins a time when a mother’s eternal wakefulness is caused solely by worrying about the condition of her child.
And when the child gets older …
Your little one starts to grow and many things change. You will surely reach the stage where the child gets their first small teeth, starts eating solid foods, starts crawling, and even takes their first steps.
At this stage you will notice and appreciate a glorious fact: the baby will begin to sleep peacefully and for long periods of time! And if you’re lucky, your child will sleep through the night. A real achievement!
Here, in turn, there is another factor that causes a mother to be tired. “It doesn’t want to fall asleep!”. The hours go by and you are caught in a nightmare. Because even though your child has been playing and having fun all day, he is not tired.
The routine that starts with a warm bath, followed by lullabies, stories, hugs, kisses, and pats is not enough to get him to sleep. You are fighting an intense fight against exhaustion, this soldier who doesn’t die, but attacks again and again. Meanwhile, your child will be more active than ever, trying to play, escape, and, why not, jump around on the bed.
Other situations that cause a mother to be tired
Surely you thought we forgot the nights when you were controlling the child’s fever, bowel movements, cough, rash and many other symptoms that get your attention. These worry you to the point where you cannot sleep.
A mother’s fatigue can also be caused at any time by illnesses of her beloved child. “I cannot sleep”, the state of hypervigilance keeps you awake and you concentrate on every sign and every movement of your child.
And yes, as your child gets older, some things will become inevitable. Like their first activities. Whether it’s the first party or the tenth, you spend nights without going to bed. Well, it doesn’t make sense assuming that sleeping will be a truly impossible mission.
“Bye mom, I’m going out. Do not wait for me.” The plan for tonight? Have coffee, a movie and of course a watch to watch the time go by. The motto here becomes “Sleep – impossible!”.
Despite those many sleepless nights, mothers give everything when it comes to raising their children. Out of unconditional love, these “guardian angels” watch the well-being of their child day and night in every phase of their development. A huge applause for these wonderful creatures!
