You can use the book Mary Poppins  as an opportunity  to describe and draw the imaginative and funny adventures of the unique nanny. Then you can watch the film to see if it corresponds to your own fantasies.

This book by Maurice Sendak has achieved worldwide fame and enables children to discover a world full of imagination. The comparison between the book illustrations and the pictures in the film can inspire your children to read this great book.

4.  Matilda

It is one of the most famous film adaptations of a children’s book. Who does not know her, the little leading actress with her typical fringe on the forehead, who always has a book in hand? Or the big Bruce who eats a whole chocolate cake because the evil director Trunchbull forces him to.

Harry Potter’s  films  are world-famous and are probably among the most successful film adaptations in history. The author of the books, JK Rowling, has created an important work that  inspires many children and young people to read. After that, the children can enjoy the films as well.

6.  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Roald Dahl is the author of this world-famous story, which was also made into a film. This writer became one of the world’s most famous children’s book authors through the film adaptations of two books. 

Your kids can have fun imagining and drawing the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka. When you see the film, you will be able to admire the factory from the inside and be amazed by the Oompa Loompas.

7.  The jungle book

We have another world-famous classic by the author Kipling, which was then made into a film by Disney. Who doesn’t know the little Mowgli who was raised by animals? The little ones in the family in particular will be delighted with this story.

Children have a lot of imagination and can certainly imagine Mowgli, Baloo and Bagheera vividly even before they see these characters in the classic Disney film or the remake.

8.  The Wizard of Oz

This book by the American writer Lyman Frank Baum was published in 1900 and made into a film around 40 years later. The  Wizard of Oz  can also be seen as a musical, there is also a remake that is sure to please the whole family.
